Extraordinary Ministers

of Holy Communion

(Eucharistic Minister)

An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion is a member or the parish who assists with the

distribution of Communion at Mass. Ministers of Communion also bring the Body and Blood of Christ

to the sick and the homebound.

This ministry ensures that the Eucharist is distributed in a reverent and holy manner.

Ministers of Communion make it possible for all to be able to received the Body and Blood of Christ.

Jesus commanded us to "Take and eat, take and drink." With the help of Communion Ministers

we can encounter the risen Lord in the Eucharist.
