The Parish Family of Notre Dame Church shares in the excitement and joy of your upcoming marriage. We realize that you must have many questions and concerns regarding the planning of your wedding. The clergy and staff at Notre Dame look forward to assisting you in your preparation of this important day and sacrament. 

The marriage of two people before God and recognized by the church is a joyful occasion. Couples who marry with the church's blessing, are committing to a life long relationship of love and family.

Let’s Get Started

Your first step is to contact the parish secretary, 973-226-0979, to check the available dates and leave some contact information. A priest will then be in touch to meet with both you in person. The time and date of your wedding can only be held on the calendar by a priest when you meet. The marriage preparation process will include:

• Participation in Pre-Cana and God's Plan for a Joy Filled
• Meeting with priest or parish minister to discuss Christian marriage and complete all paperwork
• Planning the marriage ceremony with the parish minister

Available Wedding Times

Although weddings are a priority at Notre Dame Church, please keep in mind that we need to accommodate Saturday and Sunday Masses, baptisms, funerals, and confessions on the weekends. Weddings are normally scheduled at the following times:

Weekdays: from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm

Saturdays: 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm

Sundays: 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm

Please remember that weddings can only be booked in the parish calendar when the couple meets in person with the priest or parish minister.
